Bulfinch Welcomes Emily Simard as Vice President of Leasing

The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), a commercial real estate, management and investment firm, is pleased to announce that Emily Simard has joined the firm as Vice President of Leasing.
Emily brings 15 years of commercial real estate experience across office, medical office, life science, and retail leasing in Boston and New York. In her new role, she will work alongside Mike Wilcox, Managing Director, Leasing to support leasing strategy across Bulfinch’s portfolio, focusing on driving occupancy and tenant retention, securing top-tier tenants, and shaping dynamic environments that support long-term asset value and occupancy.

Prior to joining Bulfinch, Emily served as Senior Leasing Manager at Samuels & Associates, where she was responsible for more than 1.15 million square feet of completed office, medical office, life science, and retail leases across a portfolio of more than 20 properties in Fenway, Back Bay, South Boston, Hingham, and Delray Beach. She has a history of successfully attracting top talent in the office and life sciences sectors, including tenants such as The LEGO Group, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Boston Children’s Hospital. She has also played a key role in activating mixed-use environments, bringing notable retail brands including Bartaco, Solidcore, Pressed Juicery, and Ten One Tea to neighborhood destinations.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Lehigh University and is a licensed real estate salesperson in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is an active member of CREW Boston and NAIOP, serving on the CREW Golf Committee and the NAIOP Program & Education Committee. Recently, Emily was recognized at CREW Boston’s 2025 Achievement Awards with the team that worked on the Lyrik Back Bay development as recipients of the Networking Award recognizing the project team for contributing to the business-to-business success of the project.
