BOSTON, MA – May 18, 2020

The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch) announces Lora Shea has joined the firm’s Financial Reporting Team, as Assistant Vice President. Lora will help strengthen Bulfinch’s financial reporting team and play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing success of the Company.

Shea comes to Bulfinch with two decades of experience, working both regionally and internationally in commercial real estate.  Her most recent role was working for real estate investor and developer Hines in Luxembourg where she served as a Finance Manager on a multi-national team managing and developing assets in the Nordics.  Shea was previously Controller for Marcus Partners, Inc. and Controller for Lyme Properties, LLC, both industry leaders in office and life science real estate.

Bulfinch continues to grow the organization despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Bulfinch’s strong life science portfolio has required many properties to remain open – as its labs can be an essential business – with many companies researching both treatment and testing opportunities for COVID-19.

As AVP, Shea will help support Bulfinch’s Financial Reporting to ensure the continued success of the firm’s timely and accurate reporting to partners, lenders and ownership.

Shea graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and earned dual certifications in real estate finance and commercial real estate from Boston University.  Shea is a long-standing member of CREW Boston (Commercial Real Estate Women.)
