Bulfinch Sells Waltham Asset
BOSTON, MA – February 10, 2020
Bulfinch announces that an affiliate has completed the sale of 1560 Trapelo Road in Waltham, MA. The property was purchased by an affiliate of Phase 3 Real Estate Partners, Inc. Robert Richards, Executive Vice Chairman at Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer.
Bulfinch developed the property more than a decade ago into a class A three-story state-of-the-art office building with superior branding and visibility along Route 128. The property was one of the select few buildings along Route 128 to achieve LEED Platinum Certification for the interior design, and LEED Gold Certification for the base building.
The sale of the Waltham suburban asset will enable Bulfinch to reinvest the proceeds into the urban core of Greater Boston. “With the sale of 1560 Trapelo, Bulfinch intends to continue investing in Boston’s urban core and emerging core, focusing on both life science and medical assets,” said Eric Schlager, CEO of Bulfinch.
