Bulfinch Participates in CowParade New England

BOSTON, MA – July 3, 2023

The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), a commercial real estate and investment firm, is excited to participate in CowParade New England supporting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s ongoing efforts in cancer research in partnership with The Jimmy Fund. Bulfinch’s cow, “Boston” by local artist and Boston school teacher Ari Hauben, will be on display at the gateway of Cambridge Discovery Park, a lab and office park in the Alewife Life Science Cluster.

The CowParade is the largest and most successful public art event in the world, with over $30 million raised for various charitable organizations. For 2023, the CowParade marks the 75th anniversary of the Jimmy Fund to support their mission to prevent, treat, and defy cancer. The Jimmy Fund is comprised of community-based fundraising events and programs that benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s mission to defy cancer through groundbreaking research and extraordinary care.

All proceeds from Bulfinch’s sponsorship of “Boston” support the Dana-Farber Campaign and will continue to advance their mission to enhance cancer treatment and prevention.

Bulfinch has been a longtime supporter and partner of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Bulfinch team members have actively participated in the Pan Mass Challenge for over 25 consecutive years and are preparing for the PMC’s 43rd year ride this August to help support PMC’s 2023 goal of raising $70 Million. Dana-Farber is also a key tenant at multiple Bulfinch properties, including the new Cancer Treatment Facility at Life Time Center in Chestnut Hill.
