BULFINCH COMPLETES REFINANCING TRANSACTION WITH SALEM FIVE BANK FOR MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING IN WESTON

BOSTON, MA – June 28, 2025

An affiliate of The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), a commercial real estate, property management and investment firm, announced today the completion of the refinancing for Gateway Medical Center located at 134 South Avenue in Weston, MA.

The loan was closed with Salem Five Bank, and marks Bulfinch’s fourth loan completed in recent years with Salem Five, further extending the company’s ongoing relationship with the bank. The completed refinancing delivers significant savings over the life of the loan and positively impacts Bulfinch’s bottom line with interest savings that will provide flexibility for use of cash to fund future acquisitions and to reinvest in the business.

134 South Avenue is a two-story, 10,000 SF building ideally located at the intersection of I-90 (MA Pike), I-95 (Route 128) and Route 30 (South Avenue), making it one of the most convenient suburban medical office buildings in the Boston area. The medical center is 100% leased with medical office tenants including Pediatric Associates of Wellesley and Denmark Digestive Health.
