Bulfinch Announces Two New Hires

BOSTON, MA – September 14, 2023

The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), a Boston-based private real estate investment, development and management firm, announces new leadership for the firm’s Asset Management team, Alexander Schultz and Charles Montemor.

Schultz joins Bulfinch as the new Vice President, Director of Asset Management and Montemor as Assistant Vice President, Senior Asset Manager. These new hires will help strengthen Bulfinch’s asset management team and the firm’s continued commitment to excellence across its growing life science, medical office, office, and industrial portfolio.

Schultz joins Bulfinch following his role as Vice President, Asset Management & Investments at The Davis Companies where he was responsible for driving asset-level performance across the company’s life science and advanced manufacturing portfolio of over 2 million square feet. Schultz graduated from Harvard Business School with a Master in Business Administration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vanderbilt University where he was member of the Vanderbilt varsity football team.

Schultz is actively involved in multiple CRE industry organizations including serving as a member of NAIOP’s Program Committee and previously chaired NAIOP’s Developing Leader Committee. He is also a member of MASSBIO serving on their Transportation Committee. Deeply committed to giving back, Schultz currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of the Commonwealth Land Trust, a non-profit dedicated to preserving neighborhoods and preventing homelessness, and has been a member of the board since 2019.

Montemor comes to Bulfinch having served previously as Vice President of Asset Management at Santerre Health Investors where he oversaw all aspects of management, leasing, and financial reporting for a portfolio of medical office buildings totaling 50 assets and approximately 1.9 million square feet. Montemor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration, Finance and Strategy from Boston University.
