Bulfinch Announces Plans for Speculative Incubator Lab Space at Cambridge Discovery Park
CAMBRIDGE, MA-June 12, 2007- The Bulfinch Companies, Inc., a Needham-based real estate investment firm, is pleased to announce the start of construction of a 7,564 SF fully-fitup speculative incubator lab space on the fifth floor of Building 100, 100 Acorn Park Drive, Cambridge, MA.
Building 100 is a newly constructed, six-story Class A office/lab building located in Cambridge Discovery Park, one of the largest campus settings in Cambridge. The park, located adjacent to the Alewife T Station on Route 2, spans approximately 30 acres, and when completed, will constitute a total development of approximately 820,000 rentable square feet. Building 100 serves as the headquarters for high-profile research and lab tenants, the Harvard-Smithsonian Astrophysical Institute, and FoldRx.
The new incubator space was designed by the architecture firm of Olson, Lewis, Dioli & Doktor Associates, which designed the new FoldRx offices within the building. The space will be completed in August 2007, ready for immediate use for life sciences research.
