Boston architectural firm ADD Inc. recently announced it achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification for its Boston office. Fred Kramer, president of the architecture and design company, wrote in an e-mail that the firm is the first in Massachusetts to obtain the highest level of certification for its own existing office space.
Besides its own office at 311 Summer St., ADD Inc. has recently completed such LEED projects as the first LEED Platinum project in Massachusetts at 40 Sylvan Road in Waltham for Davis Marcus Partners, the LEED Gold project at 1560 Trapelo Road for The Bulfinch Cos. Inc. and the LEED Silver project at 100 Hancock St. in Quincy for Griffith Properties, LLC.
